Build a crystal radio or AM/FM kit

"Building electronic circuits is not reserved to expert technicians or engineers. Try it yourself!
In this activity, you will try to build a crystal radio radio receiver, that is a radio that just uses the energy of radio waves to work, or one of the many AM/FM crystal radio kit that can be cheaply purchased online or in electronics stores."

"To build a crystal radio, you can find all the information in the  Manual for amateur radio activity: https://www.jotajoti.info/jota/manual-for-amateur-radio-activity . No soldering activities are required.
To build an AM/FM receiver, after having purchased a kit, you will assemble it, following the instruction.  A soldering kit is required, beware of hot temperature! You can find plenty of resources about soldering online, or you may be assisted by a skilled adult.

Now its the magic moment: switch the radio on and try to catch a broadcasting station! If the circuits doesn't work at the first time, don't be sad: this is the work of an experimenter, which is rarely plug-and-play!

When the radio receiver is finally working, take a photo, or even better a video; you will upload it to this link:https://padlet.com/marcobarbisan87/build-a-crystal-radio-or-am-fm-kit-j5czue68qex4e2c5
Once approved, the image or video will appear here below. If the video has many megabytes, please consider posting it on youtube first and then share it in the padlet.
