In this activity, you will calculate your personal carbon footprint, identify the areas where you generate the most emissions, and learn simple actions to reduce them. By making small changes, you will contribute to caring for the planet in a conscious and sustainable way.

Hike the planet

This global campaign invites Scouts everywhere to step outside, explore their surroundings, and take part in a shared adventure with Scouts around the world. Participants log their kilometres on the JOTA-JOTI platform, from short walks in local parks to full-day hikes in the outdoors. The goal? To collectively hike the equivalent of the Earth’s circumference while having fun, connecting with others, and discovering the world around us.
